Well once again BFF o'the Archive Jeff Shepherd has come through with some unique Topps pieces. In today's episode, we find two ballpoint pens, given out by the Topps salesmen no doubt, to help their customers (wholesalers and large retail accounts) fill out their order forms:
I need to look at some reference scans to see if those Topps logos match up with salesman samples but I would peg these as mid to late 50's, maybe a little later on the top one. There are all sorts of Topps promo pieces but you just don lt see them too often. Thanks Shep!
