Topps Mockup Cards

Pressed for time the last week due to insurmountable issues with life, the universe and everything else. I'll likely post some short stuff for the next week or so and thought I'd take a quick look at an old Baseball Card News article from the 80's. The prototypes shown were in the collection of Gavin Riley, a well-known collector at the time. Some of the designs were partially used in other sets. I've never really seen anything else like these.



I have never seen other examples of mockups by Topps but surely some are out there.
